Product Description

This primer is specifically designed to be applied before using adhesive-backed tapes such as:

• Cover tape
• Seam tape
• Flashing tape
• Pipe boot

These 1L tins are perfect for flat roofing projects or as an addition to your roofing supplies, helping you to create an effective foundation before applying any waterproof coating, ensuring the perfect results.

This primer is essential for any roof surface that is likely to be, or has been, exposed to particularly bad weather, bonding the roof coating to the surface of your roofing installation, and therefore is essential to the adhesion of any paint coating.

Please note that this is not to be used as a substitute for proper roof-membrane preparation.

Our flat roofing primer is suitable for EPDM rubber roofing, in addition to rubber roofing, protectors, sealants, and a range of other flat roofing supplies. It can also be used on many other different types of roofs and roofing.
